Duo Albums
Duos are our signature product. They feature our unique "pagemount" presentation, where we hand-trim each print and place it inside the card mat for a beautiful keyline effect. You can also incorporate un-matted sides and add creative touches to matted pages. This is a quick overview. For more, please follow the links in the Details section below.
11 sizes and shapes from 8x8 to 18x12 — square, portrait and landscape — in all our cover materials and cover styles.
Page construction: Hand-trimming the prints to fit inside the mat exposes the underlying core page, which is what creates the keyline border effect. Each page can be "free designed", and within reason each image aperture custom-sized. Because of the intricate handwork involved we restrict pagemount to the high-end Duo range. The following design features are also exclusive to Duo, and can be seen in the slideshow:
• Split mats — where matted apertures bleed to the page edge.
• Panorama pages — where apertures span both sides of the layout.
You can include up to 30 pages (60 sides).
We do offer overlay Duos, but Overlay Matted is a more affordable option unless you want to take advantage of the above features.
Printing: True Photographic Lustre (silver halide), our most popular option, and the most enduring.
Thickness: Duo pages have a page thickness of 3.0mm, with mats both sides of the page. Thickness will be less if one or both sides are un-matted.
Page Colour: Available with ivory or black mats, and ivory or black core pages.
Included in the price: Door to door shipping world-wide, to your studio or direct to your client. Extra charges may apply for drop-shipping outside your country of residence. Our albums are presented in a soft velvet bag and silk-screened presentation box.
Optional extras include personal, Studio and Companion embossing, personal translucent titles, copy albums (parent albums), and packaging upgrades (designer album boxes, display boxes and carry cases).

Queensberry products are hand-made, and the volume of orders varies week to week and seasonally, which means production times can change. You can track progress on individual orders through your Workspace account.
Once your account is approved, log in to Workspace and click “Buy” in the main navigation, then “Books and Albums". You’ll be taken through a step-by-step process to place your order, including selecting the cover material, embossing options and extras, and uploading the image files. You can also ask us to design the album for you, or you can design it yourself in Workspace. Find out more.
Our albums come in a soft grey suede-like bag and beautiful silk-screened presentation box. Depending on the size, we also offer Carry Cases, Display Boxes and Designer Boxes as optional upgrades. (Carry Cases are highly practical for carrying your sample albums from place to place.) Boxes and carry cases must be ordered with the original album, and cannot be purchased independently.
Our albums are printed and handmade by our lab technicians and craftspeople in Auckland, New Zealand.
