We really love it when people get just as excited about wedding albums as we do! And Melissa Jill is a photographer who simply loves what she does. She recently blogged about her new Queensberry sample album for Dan & Lindsey who got married last October at the Royal Palms in Phoenix. "I'm so excited! I just received a new sample album from Queensberry. It's 18x10 inches of supple micro leather goodness. I wish you could touch it through the screen. It's SO soft! I wanted to offer a really unique album to my high end clients and this album fits the bill beautifully! It is available with various To View More >>
David and Sarah Henry recently blogged about receiving their first Queensberry album... "Wow! ... This company is making albums that will get handed on to the future generations as a bespoke family reference. "Our first album, a sample based on Dave and Katie's gorgeous wedding, arrived in our studio and has blown us away. It's an 18x10 Duo (a combination of digital and matted pages) with a Blueberry leather cover and ivory pages. It's absolutely beautiful. "We felt such beautiful photos warranted the impact of a large gorgeous album such as this." Click here to view more images of Dave and Katie's To View More >>
What does a photographer do when their client wants something ‘a bit different’ for their wedding day? Ask Steve and Heidi of Aim 2 Please Photography. The bride and groom were married by the bride's Grandparents, who are both members of the Salvation Army, then headed off to several locations around the resort where Steve and Heidi has set specific shots up. They posed with chairs in a grassy field, under a white canopy bed and set up a shoot To View More >>
Kayla and I married last December out in the notoriously wet Waitakere Ranges, at a venue called Cassels. You can read more about the day here. The day before, bad weather was forecast. Not good. So I met up with our photographer Johannes van Kan to discuss our options. Options governed by what the weather would decide to do, and that would ultimately determine the format of album we went with. If it rained we'd focus on portrait shots around the venue, more suited to a smaller, squarer album. Sunny, and we'd head to the beach and get some nice panoramic shots and go with a wide format album To View More >>
Christina and Jesse's album, by 2010 New Zealand photographer of the year Tony Carter, has been on lock-down for the past few months while it was entered into the recent NZIPP Iris Awards. It emerged not long ago sporting a Bronze for the Wedding album category; just one of the awards Tony picked up. Christina and Jesse married in late January at Waiaua Estate, North Taranaki, New Zealand, and went for a wide format 18x10 Duo album... To view more of Tony's work check out his wedding portfolio here. Cheers, Nigel Tony walked away with New Zealand Professional Photographer of the Year for the fifth To View More >>
