Pete and Ian have been blogging about colour management systems and how they help to ensure your image editing work delivers predictable colour and high-quality printing. But there's a lot to think about! Even the light you're working in can affect the results … or the clothes you're wearing, or the colour of your walls. So what could be easier? Getting us to do the work! Here's an incredibly simple new service, and a special offer: Batch Colour Correction by Queensberry in Lightroom. You can use our plugins, no matter where you are in the world, to send us DNG files from raw images you select To View More >>
I'm often told that brides do all their research online and communicate with photographers only by email. And that it's normal to book a photographer based on such minimal interaction: "Stephen it's no use. They just want a price. It's all about the deal, so I just give them one and hope." And I myself am very cautious when it comes to money - but at the same time I’m a designer and I love beautiful things. I came across this fantastic blog The Broke-Ass Bride which is full of great ideas on how to save money without compromising too much on the overall To View More >>
It's not until you see the images of your wedding that you realise how incredibly important they are. That's how I felt when I looked at my wedding photos for the first time. I cried! - they were just so much more than what I'd expected, and each one holds a moment of absolute goodness. I'd say it's the same with an album - it's not until you see a book so carefully crafted to document your day that you realise how important this object is that holds these memories. That's what I have in mind when I'm laying out the images for a Musée. Every shot is incredibly special and chosen because the story To View More >>
