We've just removed the password protection from the knowledge base on our Partner website, making most of it accessible to anyone. Most of it's just detailed product and service information that our clients might want to check out from time to time - so it's not like Wikileaks would be interested! - but some of it's a bit sensitive, which is why it's been restricted. Some of you've been saying it's frustrating having to log in, however, which is why we've put most of the content out in the open. The only exception is the Marketing and Business section which is still locked down. That's where all To View More >>
As our colour correction policy outlines, when you order Full Colour Service we colour-correct your images so as to optimise natural skin-tones and achieve consistency across all the images in the album. However, if you run Photoshop actions or add special effects/tones to your images and the desired effect differs from these guidelines, we'd ask that you leave a quick note on your order to let us know, so we don't undo the work you've done on them. If capturing a fleeting moment thrills you … if beautiful colour makes your heart beat faster … if you dream about composition in your sleep… if you love telling stories with pictures - we'd love to hear from you. We’re looking for sets of around 80 images, but to enter all you have to do is send us TEN low-res images* from up to TWO different events - a wedding, portrait session, or whatever you happen to shoot - and email them to us at showcase@queensberry.com. Different to the Butterfly Effect because they haven't made a movie of the same name with at least two sequels. The Bumble Bee effect is all about buzz and pollen. It's about being talked about. We successfully did so by putting on an earthquake (a really big one). There are other ways to create a buzz that are much more positive. Obvious buzz topics are awards, photographing the wedding of Kate and Prince William, standing tall in the face of adversity, scandal, heroism, and achievement. (Actually 'scandal' To View More >>
You'll know all about EXIF data... That information your camera stores about your images. Well it's especially important when comparing images. And since you probably do a lot of 'comparing' in Photojunction, your image's EXIF data is available to view from within the Event window. Simply select an image, and click the EXIF Data tab in the navigation bar on the left to display its information (they must be linked to the high-res originals). You can also sort images in the Event window using EXIF tags. Very handy. Cheers, Nigel Discovered this handy hint buried in the drafts (thanks Nigel, gone To View More >>
