Our clients featured strongly again this year among the winners of the 2009 Annabel Williams Contemporary Photographic Training (CPT) Awards. Sarah Wright took out the Queensberry-sponsored Portrait Album category (we featured the wedding album category winner a few days ago). Ex-CPT student Sarah submitted this design of a portrait shoot of a teenager shot in the Borde Hill Gardens - a country estate in the South of England. “The subject really wanted a rural shoot as he loved the country side and country clothing – so I utilised the Estate’s striking features like the wrought iron gates, To View More >>
Audrey and Xue (Lee) headed home to Taiwan to get married, but approached UK husband and wife photography team Carol and Nicholas Frost (Nicholas Frost Photography) to create something special in and around their current home in Aberdeen, Scotland, on their return. With pride comes humility - the flip side of pride - and by nature most New Zealanders tend not to blow our own trumpets. But in Queensberry's case we've put ourselves on a world stage where we can hold our own. Each of us takes it upon ourselves to instil a sense of pride in what we do. We have a culture of doing the best we can. No one told me to write this post, I just wanted to mention the people I work with. Most of To View More >>
