SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Marketing

This year's Bragging Rights promo went way beyond our expectations! We were overwhelmed by the amazing response from hundreds of photographers, and are truly grateful to everyone who participated. Thank you very much from everyone at Queensberry. The brief was for "images with something special to say about love and laughter, a vibrant culture, a dramatic environment or a compelling story". We also needed to represent the various regions and markets we serve as widely as possible, and we weren't looking just for weddings! Over the next few weeks, in no particular order, we'd like to introduce To View More >>

If capturing a fleeting moment thrills you … if beautiful light makes your heart beat faster … if you dream about composition in your sleep… if you love telling stories with pictures - we'd love to hear from you. It's that time again - we're looking for new images to showcase on our websites and in our new season sample albums and books, as well as in our blogs and marketing pieces (including our new Queensberry Bride landing page). So you're tempted by our special offer, and you've decided to add Q-Frames, Q-Boxes and Q-Books to your Workspace shopping cart. Maybe it's your first time selling online! How much should you charge? Finding the sweet spot between too cheap and too expensive can be tricky. Ask yourself: 1. What costs must the price cover? For example will you need to edit or artwork the images? If so was the work included in the price of the shoot or do you need to charge for it now? 2. What's the market price? How much would people in your market expect to pay for products like these from a photographer like To View More >>

Remember the little domestic drama about how my briefcase and laptop were stolen? And how, to judge from my own buying behaviour, not everyone is going to downgrade to cheap and nasty just because of the recession? Well, yes, I bought the most expensive laptop bag I came across, but... I asked for a discount. You're not to know this but I'm a shrug-and-pay guy. It's my role in life to pay full retail, so for me to ask for, let alone get, 10% off is unusual. But what struck me was how the store projected itself. There wasn't a sale sign anywhere. Nothing to suggest times are tough, or please make To View More >>
