Shwetha and Matt were married on July 2, 2011 at the Springfield Country Club in a traditional Christian service. To complete their 'tale of two cities', they are also heading to India in November for a Hindu wedding ceremony. They were photographed by Michelle Lindsay Photography - and here's what Michelle said about their wedding day. "I think what I love the most about Shwetha and Matt is how easy going they are. They love to laugh, which makes being around them extremely comfortable. Since Shwetha lived in NYC, we hadn't been able to do an engagement session so the wedding day was their first To View More >>

Thinking about the December holiday season already? We are. It's our busiest time of the year, and because we hand-make all our albums to order, November and December can be very hectic - especially as we close down for three weeks over the NZ summer holidays. Queensberry's colour correctors are passionate about their work and achieving a result that pleases you, but even if you're not using their services the way they approach the job is worth thinking about. When they get an order, the first thing our colour correctors do is open up all the layouts to get a 'feel' for the overall colour of the album. Their goal is to optimise key elements like flesh tones or a bride's dress, and to achieve a consistent, natural look across page layouts and the entire album. Often we see albums where individual images have been tweaked without thought for how they To View More >>

We like to say “We’re local” wherever we do business, but this story is as local as you can get… When we asked our regular clients to complete a survey, we promised a free album to one lucky respondent. We couldn’t believe it when the winner was a New Zealander, Liz March, from our own hometown! In fact she used to work not a mile from the Bindery. When we asked Liz to introduce herself to our readers, this is what she wrote: “About ten years ago I was working as an art teacher at a full immersion Maori school in Glen Eden. On my way to school one morning I picked up a hitchhiker who To View More >>
