Several weeks ago, engaged couple Janet and Chip hit the streets of New York and the Museum of Natural History with their photographer Parris Whittingham for a pre-wedding  engagement session. After seeing their proofs of the shoot, the couple decided to commission two 9×9 matted albums as wedding gifts for their parents. Parris says, "With the support of Queensberry, we were able to custom design and receive these exquisite parent albums in record time…" Our congratulations and best wishes to Janet and Chip as they wed this weekend - 8 May, 2010. At Queensberry we say our ideal clients are mid to high end photographers, and those who aspire to be. Oh, and we love it if you buy albums! So in our recent album pricing survey one of the questions we asked readers was, how many albums do you sell? Over half our respondents said less than ten a year. Ten albums a year doesn't seem a lot, so does that mean the world is ending for albums and the people who sell them? Not at all. Nothing's changed. Three months was all Juliane and Chris needed to put together their beautiful DIY wedding. They rented a lovely house for the weekend in Austin, Texas where a small intimate ceremony took place. Their photographer Sarah Jaine Photography describes the day as “Beautiful, unique and truly representative of how I know them to be.” Their album starts with a translucent title page I just love the ceremony shots - Chris and Juliane are glowing. It was a small intimate ceremony with just immediate family and close friends - they even had their friend marry them (he applied for a license). Chris To View More >>

I am always 'oohing' and 'aahing' over destination weddings, and when I came across Brian and Delara’s Bali wedding it was no exception. On the clifftops of Bukit Peninsula, Brian and Delara wed at Villa Latitude in Karang Kembar, Bali. They're both from Perth Australia, and they enjoyed an entire week celebrating, relaxing and having fun with their nearest and dearest. I just love the beautiful soft light captured in their photographs, not to mention the breathtaking location! Brian and Delara said their 'I do's' overlooking the Indian Ocean - It looks stunning! Michelle and Guy wed at the Milk Station in Otaki, New Zealand. The photographer of the day was Siaosi Photography who are based in Wellington, New Zealand. With a wedding of only 25 guests, it was a relaxed and intimate day shared with loved ones – the perfect celebration for Michelle and Guy. Translucent title pages are a great introduction to any album. I just adore the soft shades of purple & grey throughout this 10x10 Flushmount Album (I'm a sucker for anything Lavender!)
