How famous are you? Seriously. In your neighbourhood and around the world? Being world famous is cool, and sometimes it may be important, but for most of us being famous in our own back yard is good enough. Here's a case in point. In New Zealand there's a drink called Lemon and Paeroa (L&P to its friends). It's "world famous in New Zealand", so famous it has its own statue. But I'll bet you've never heard of it, and they probably don't care. Watch this rather weird video if you need a laugh for the day (isn't that Jermaine Clement of Flight of the Conchords doing the voiceover?). We want to To View More >>

At Queensberry we say our ideal clients are mid to high end photographers, and those who aspire to be. Oh, and we love it if you buy albums! So in our recent album pricing survey one of the questions we asked readers was, how many albums do you sell? Over half our respondents said less than ten a year. There's been a LOT of interest generated by the new Workspace mobile app, so I thought I'd remind you how easy Workspace sharing is. Next time I'll suggest the best place to share. Let's assume you've uploaded some images and now you're in Workspace looking at the image collection you want to share... (Click the screenshots to view them full-size)... 1. Click the big blue SHARE button to open the sharing pop-up window. You should explore the other options but the window opens to "auto" (my favourite - see below) where you can set up automatic sharing to Facebook profiles and pages, Twitter and/or To View More >>

"How much for that album?"If you ask us that, and you have an approved account, we're happy to tell you.But in 40+ years, while we’ve often offered guidance, we’ve never ever told customers how much they should charge.Well I'm going to be brave and make a suggestion. Then I'm going to ask youwhat you think. But first, some background... For decades many photographers charged really high prices for their products (albums, prints, framing etc). They did this to avoid asking a reasonable fee for theirservices. You can see why. Even our wealthiest acquaintances think photographers charge To View More >>
