Ok it's not the same as getting a new iPhone for Christmas but for the inner Photojunction tech support geek it gets pretty close. Same with all you power users out there I reckon. For me the big one is the first... A new shortcut for choosing standard aperture sizes Instead of selecting an aperture size from the pop-up menu you can now use keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease an aperture to the next standard size. • For Mac OSX Command+Shift+I and Command+Shift+K • For Windows Control+Shift+I and Control+Shift+K. Next we have not one, not two but three new right-click functions [caption id="attachment_17866" align="alignnone" width="500"]Right-click power - click to view full size Right-click power - click to view full size[/caption] Right-click on an aperture and you can choose: • Browse to original • Reimport from original • Show the image in Event window Next we have a new warning about multiple images with the same file name How can that happen? By having the same filename in different subfolders. It does happen, and it causes problems exporting and relinking high-res files. So Photojunction now warns about duplicate file names before sending the order. I know people think warnings are a pain, but I see the bright side - a reduction in reprints and repairs, and no confusion about which image is to be used. The guys have also fixed an issue that can crop up (excuse the pun) when you're exporting your page layouts with Photoshop If Photoshop crashed while exporting it would mess up the crop of apertures on the open layout (when you went back into the design you'd find the images cropped to the top left hand corner). That's now resolved. Us power users will see how all these tweaks can speed up the design process quite dramatically. I see a reduction in design time, a reduction in search time and a reduction in reprints and repairs. Let us know what you think! Cheers, Pete
