Hi, I've just received a beautiful new album from Queensberry, and I'd love you to see it. I think your photographs would look wonderful in an album like this, and if you upgrade now I can offer you a special introductory price. Let me know if you're interested!

What makes it work? Your enthusiasm and belief that this really will be a better outcome for your customers. We see photographers turn themselves into top Queensberry clients within weeks or months doing exactly this. So rewrite the message in your own personal words and get it out there! I'd include a photograph and a special offer (discount or added extra) and follow up cheerfully after two or three days. Price it to be tempting. Don't focus on percentage markups, focus on the extra cash. Even clearing an extra $500 from one past customer would be great, especially if we're doing the design and image prep for you! But clear that from twenty people and that's a cool $10K from customers who may be gone and forgotten. And if you can convert your existing bookings you're building the momentum to take your business in a new direction. Now you've bought the sample, the rest is easy. There's money on the table, so go on, do it now! Remember, if you don't ask the answer is always no. Thanks for reading - more to come!
