[caption id="attachment_7717" align="alignnone" width="500" caption="Click to view image full-size"][/caption] It's been said that the first rule of online social media is, Invest your time, not your money. Which is why it's so hard to do. Let's face it – who has the time? So how about a marketing opportunity that requires just a button-click? We've just snuck (if that's a word) a new feature into Queensberry's Photojunction Resources, and judging by the emails already coming in it's going to be a popular idea. If we're printing and assembling your album, you'll see a question asking if you'd To View More >>
It's that time of year when we take stock, make resolutions and ask questions ... like how can we make this year a winner? Are there too many photographers? Why do we ask our competitors for advice? Well we capped off a successful trade show in Las Vegas by going to the WPPI awards to see Johannes van Kan win the wedding album competition (for a single photographer). Johannes was at home in New Zealand with his lovely wife Jo and "Hurricane Ida", so Heather grabbed the trophy for him and I took this photo on my iPhone. Everyone loved Johannes' imagery and we had a constant stream to the Queensberry stand to check it out (lots of people recognised the Musée album he displayed it in). Thanks a million to everyone who came to see us. The team caught up with a heap of old friends and made lots To View More >>
After two weeks on the road (four for the PJ guys) - some of our team were a little worse for wear when they got back. Long hours, foreign bugs and a huge amount of travel, but they're safe and sound, and they really enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with you. It was a successful time at both WPPI and FOCUS and I'm sure you'll hear plenty of stories in the coming weeks, but let's start by announcing some winners! Everyone who signed up with Queensberry at either show went into the daily draw to win their Starter Kit free. All up we had 7 winners, so here they are: WPPI Monday: Trina Knudsen To View More >>
