Some time ago a client came to us seeking advice on his newly drafted wedding pricing and packages for a brochure. We did a bit of work on it which basically resulted in simplifying. We cut the word count in half, more tightly defined his packages to adhere to the good, better, best principle, helped him decide on the best way to charge for albums, and tightened up the language. Later we received this email from him: A few months ago you were kind enough to help me as I prepared my wedding documentation and pricing. I've shot two weddings since then - one using my document before you edited it To View More >>

It's that time of year when we take stock, make resolutions and ask questions ... like how can we make this year a winner? Are there too many photographers? Why do we ask our competitors for advice? What can we learn from musicians? And the big one: How much are our images worth? Sadly, that's not just about how good they are or how much time we spend on them in post-production. Our latest client newsletter is below. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment here or emailing Ian directly. Cheers, Nigel How much are your images worth? For a number of reasons, Tim Wild has been in contact with our support team probably more times than he'd care to remember. But he's always willing to spend time on the phone and help us get to the bottom of an issue ... and suggest improvements to the software in the process. 1) How does Photojunction support compare to other support services you've used? PJ support is one of the best support services I've ever used. Their replies are usually very quick, no matter what time of the day or night I contact them, and they usually have my query answered within an hour even if it requires several To View More >>

Our dear friend, Ian. Most of you haven't met him, but there's a good chance he's saved your bacon once or twice. Ian Cameron has been a crucial member of the Photojunction team, and is leaving us to head back down-the-line to his home town. The trend in the tech industry is to skip jobs every 18 months or so looking for the new best thing, but that hasn't been the case for us and certainly not for Ian. Ian has been with us for 6 years, I hazard a guess he's answered over 40,000 emails and 12,000 phone calls! This doesn't include tireless work on resources, bug busting, and in the ol' days, CD To View More >>

Did you see the album we posted on our brand blog. Michael Soo photographed it himself and I stumbled across it. He photographed Christine and Ben's album when it arrived and, as well as blogging it, emailed them a few photos as a teaser. Ben wrote back within minutes saying, "We're on our way!" What a great, easy way to enhance the excitement and experience for his clients of seeing their album for the first time. Cheers, Nigel PS Good for business too, and we see more and more people putting juicy photography up for clients, their friends and prospects to see. To View More >>
