It's hard to shake off a reputation for being cheap too. The question is, which reputation do you prefer? Our people get frustrated when they hear, "Oh you guys are so expensive…" In fact this week they ran an email saying, "That's not right!" Their point is we have six different product ranges, six very different price points, and most people are genuinely surprised by what we can offer. My point is that cheap doesn't To View More >>

Fiona and Joey's Valentines day wedding was shot by Gino Demeer of Cactus Photography earlier this year at Woodlands Homestead in Gordonton, New Zealand. Gino designed this 14x10 Duo and added a 7-inch copy album to complete the set for the couple. He also had another set made to for his own client sample collection. Carry case and all. Here's a few shots of his Graphite Leather album... Click here to view a slideshow of Fiona and Joey's wedding album. To see more of Gino's work check out his blog here. Just a few weeks ago, I received something that was a long time coming. My very own Queensberry Album! Now you can imagine why it took me just over a year to actually get it designed and ordered  - I'm a Queensberry designer - which is another way of saying that I'm a perfectionist. We often get asked how Queensberry started. Well, I came home from university one day to find Heather had bought a set of of leather-working tools so she could make a handbag for her mother! I never imagined it would be the start of a business that's been growing for more than forty years. It's literally in her blood. Her great-grandfather produced opera and made saddles as a hobby (she cried when she discovered that). Her grandfather was head designer at Selfridges. Her father, her brother, her uncles and aunts are, or were, all involved in painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, wood and metal To View More >>

Let me tell you a story about why we're in the album business, why we believe in brand building, and why you should too. Don't tell anyone but you're looking at two early Queensberries from the days when albums weren't everything we do. It may look a bit tired but the old wallet on top has excellent provenance, as they say. In 1990 Stephen brought his new fiancée home from Brisbane to meet his family in New Zealand. He gave her the Queensberry tour, saw the wallet and asked could he have it? Heather gave it to him. (I hope she gave Sonya something too!) Years passed. We stopped making wallets. To View More >>
