Are you showing people what you want them to buy? I'll bet you're not. This is important, and so simple... Why does the "business you" want to sell albums? Because they're a surefire way to create extra income from two scarce resources - your time and your wedding bookings. I just got off skype from a photographer complaining because she can't sell albums. Wants to … but can't. But look at her website, or almost any photographers' website, and how many albums do you see? Almost none. How many photographers are showing what they (want to) sell? Almost none. So what's the difference between them To View More >>

Remember, before submitting your album design (, make sure you've got the right to use the images. And since we can’t cope with gazillions of submissions, please only click Yes when the album's REALLY hot. We’ll love To View More >>

Dominique from York Place Studios recently shared with us this beautiful 18x10 Duo album made for their clients Toni and Richard. Our Duo albums feature a fusion of matted and flushmount pages, bound in luxurious leathers. We also love how beautifully styled this shoot is. To view the full feature you can go here. For a little hippy nostalgia you couldn’t ask for better than Sami Sunchild’s Red Victorian Bed & Breakfast, Peaceful World Center & Cafe in Haight-Ashbury. Still going strong 45 years after the Summer of Love. Nice food too. But it was Sami's take on how to be an entrepreneur that struck us most, and reminded me of so many photographers! Heather spotted it on the wall next to our lunch table (click here for full size). And if you think being an entrepreneur is easy, read this. All you need is love. And perseverance. Cheers, Ian Here's Grace, Janis and Jimmi for ya. To View More >>
