As regular users will know, our new final v1.40 is now out in the wild. If you don’t use the Betas we think you’re in for a treat. As with all our Finals, it's a combination of features from the past two beta releases, 1.38b and 1.39b, but this time we also added two important changes that only affect Queensberry clients. We've blogged about them already on Queensberry Connects – a few controls about the use of Panoramas in matted albums and some changes to the QBY Upload Order process. We'll talk about a few juicy features we haven't covered yet over the next few days, but here are a few To View More >>

A couple of changes have been made to the way templates operate, making them even smarter than they already were. Here's the low-down... 1) When dropping a template onto a layout, Photojunction no longer Groups the apertures, which should make templates easier to understand for any users who haven't come to terms with Groups yet. We introduced Smart Centering in release 1.32, and you told us you loved it. So in 1.39b, we've made Smart Centering a whole lot smarter. You can also hover your mouse over the 'Align to page centre' button in the Tools window to find the center of the remaining available To View More >>

We met Jeff Youngren and his wife Erin (The Youngrens) a couple of years ago at WPPI and they've been on board with PJ ever since. Danny's received numbers of calls from Jeff about ideas for new Photojunction features, and it was one of those that is partly to thank for the new integration of albumexposure with Photojunction. 1) How do you like the albumexposure online album proofing feature? Why should others try it out? "To me, the Albumexposure/PJ integration is a game changer in the industry - never before has something so common been integrated so well into the whole design process. It's that time of year when we take stock, make resolutions and ask questions ... like how can we make this year a winner? Are there too many photographers? Why do we ask our competitors for advice? What can we learn from musicians? And the big one: How much are our images worth? Sadly, that's not just about how good they are or how much time we spend on them in post-production. Our latest client newsletter is below. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment here or emailing Ian directly. Cheers, Nigel How much are your images worth? We received this present from our design consultants, To View More >>
