After 2-1/2 years Nigel is leaving us to take up a new position as the marketing and comms guy at Medtech Global. This is short notice because Medtech, which specialises in medical software, is keen to have him in a hurry (we don't blame them) and we felt able to oblige. I'm regretting it already, but never mind :( Nigel leaves to progress his career with our very best wishes and my personal gratitude for everything he's done for us while he's been here. We're going to miss him. Don't be a stranger Nige! Cheers, Ian You know Nige is our metrosexual in residence. Maybe he's leaving 'cos he gets To View More >>

Follow the links for "the story so far" in our series on the recession... Yes, times will be tough for a while but you shouldn't assume the sky is falling. It makes no sense to sacrifice your business and market reputation to survive the short term challenge. Instead you may need to pull your horns in and find ways to prosper while others decline. You may have noticed we've released Photojunction Remix 1.46 Final. Thanks to changes we made to our bug reporting systems in version 1.45, we've been able to track down and resolve quite a few elusive bugs in 1.46. By the way if you see a message when you export saying 'please select a valid photoshop executable file in preferences' this is To View More >>

After 40 years we know what people notice that "doesn't look quite right" in an album. Apertures that don't align or that are inconsistently spaced are right up there. For convenience, and because it's a hot topic, we've chopped 15 minutes or so out of last week's Problem Reporter webinar where Danny and Ian talk specifically about alignment and spacing. They don't show you how to use the alignment tools, but rather demonstrate a few really clever tips to correct problems (and avoid them altogether). They're things that'll make your album look that much better. Here it is... Watch it To View More >>

The IT guys are very excited because Queensberry is about to implement a major network upgrade, including a change of providers. We won't know ourselves when it's done. If you have lots of bandwidth at your end you'll notice a substantial speed upgrade when uploading orders. However you could notice a disruption to the following services over the next few days: FTP order uploads Account login (access to our secure server) Photojunction registrations Phone (we use VOIP). Any disruption will occur as our new DNS address propagates across the internet. Some ISPs enforce as much 24 hours for an update, To View More >>
