SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Resources
The first thing you need in a wedding photographer is that they show up on the day. Click here for how Simon Whitten gets from Venice to London under the ash cloud … It's official: looks like wedding photographers are more resourceful than priests! To View More >>
Our dear friend, Ian. Most of you haven't met him, but there's a good chance he's saved your bacon once or twice. Ian Cameron has been a crucial member of the Photojunction team, and is leaving us to head back down-the-line to his home town. The trend in the tech industry is to skip jobs every 18 months or so looking for the new best thing, but that hasn't been the case for us and certainly not for Ian. Ian has been with us for 6 years, I hazard a guess he's answered over 40,000 emails and 12,000 phone calls! Queensberry is for people who believe that the way to succeed is to stand out from the crowd, not join it, and this year we have two new projects to talk to you about: 1. As you may know Apple chose Queensberry as one of "the world's finest bookmakers" to introduce their album design and ordering service in Aperture 3. Far from us to say why they chose us, so To View More >>
Those who know me know I think Seth Godin is the bee's knees. He's just been interviewed on the DWF Blog talking about wedding photography. Plenty to think about - do read it! "When everyone has a camera, and everyone thinks they are a photographic artist, it’s clear that access to the device is not a scarce resource. If that’s all you’ve got, I’m not going to pay you. The art isn’t in the taking of the picture." Cheers, Ian To View More >>
