Jasmine Star had some advice for newbie photographers a few days ago. It was a good reality check, but it left an important question unasked. Basically she says: • It doesn't matter how good you think your photography is (or the guy's down the road), it's what the customer thinks. • It doesn't matter whether you think you're "worth" what you want to charge, it's what the customer thinks. • It doesn't matter whether you're entitled to charge what you're "worth", it's what the customer thinks. The takeaway? You're better off taking what you can, and getting some runs on the board. (Jasmine To View More >>

Hello Dears We haven't spoken for an age, but the latest Photojunction release is dear to my heart, so I thought I'd put down my knitting and tell you about it. The PJ boys are very conscious that the Problem Reporter can be frustrating, so they've added a check box which, if you want to, lets you "hide" PJ's warnings (marked with yellow triangles*) so they don't show up again. These photos are from her blog: On her blog Sarah photographs and discusses her albums with detailed product shots and insight into the design process. I recently spoke with her and this is what she had to say: "I find To View More >>

We sincerely apologise to those of you that have been affected by the current errors occuring when designing Flushmount albums in Photojunction. For those of you that wish to have a full bleed image on the page after a translucent title you will be encountering an error that stops you from proceeding. We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution in Photojunction. In the meantime we have two options for getting around this issue: • Either drop the image onto the layout and physically drag the image to the edges or; • Instead of selecting the title option, leave a note in the special To View More >>
