Caring is an attractive quality we're all drawn towards on some level. We notice when people care for us, or someone else, or some thing. And it makes us feel good. Take Gail or Natasha or Sonya here at Queensberry. They make people feel good all day because they genuinely care about the person on the other end of the phone. And trust me, people notice it. When looking for a wedding venue, we noticed how much one venue cared even before we'd visited. They wanted us to have the fullest experience possible when visiting their venue, so suggested we come by one Saturday morning before a wedding, To View More >>
Yesterday our own self-confessed obsessive Johannes wrote about obsessive coffee brewers and photographers. How's this for an obsessive soda pop shop? Forget about Coke and Pepsi, John Nese has everything (else) you could dream of. And if he doesn't he's looking. Seen on Seth. More obsessives on Chow Hound. Cheers, Ian To View More >>
It’s no wonder Luke and Chantal’s wedding album caught our attention. For starters, there were three albums, not one, and the first two featured the most amazing celebrations at a fabulous location. Our part is to gather collateral and write a story for them. Here's the tip: Step back from the design and pause deliberately... Then start with the idea that this album is not a showpiece for you, the photographer, but is a story for the bride and groom. We can apply our own 'signature' to the imagery, but they own the love and the history that we're writing the story about. We are the story tellers, and it's our sensitivity to them To View More >>
Check out this email we received from one enterprising Photojunction user: "FYI I just designed a 6ft car logo in Photojunction and it worked great. I suggest expanding your business to more than just albums!" That's certainly taking the meaning of 'flexible' to a whole new level. Do you have a similar story about how you've used Photojunction to do something a bit 'out of the ordinary'? We'd love to hear about it - let us know. Cheers, Nigel PS Danny tells me he once talked to a Doctor who used Photojunction to display medical images... To View More >>
