SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Value

We love hearing about the different ways people sell their images and we love that we get to add value to their brand. Below is a series of matted prints photographed by Rachel Russell, based in Marlborough NZ. Rachel sells her prints at the Mistletoe Market in Blenheim, South Island, NZ. We think that's pretty cool and pretty entrepreneurial! When you order individual matted Q-prints they come complete with a Q embossed cover sheet. This not only protects the mat and print, but increases the perceived value. The cover sheet with our Q emboss authenticates that the image To View More >>

Last year we introduced The Queensberry Press, our first toe-dip into the brave new world of digital offset-printing. Everyone, from our designers to our developers immediately started working hard on v2.0 - starting with a hard look at what you had to say about the first release! Our email list goes back well over a decade. A scary thought when you think about it! People could have been shooting film when they signed up … or still at High School. The fact is we've been changing just as much as the world has, but I'll bet many people won't know about the Queensberry Press, for example, or Musée, or our Apple® connection. Or that that you no longer need To View More >>

It used to be that people would ask me if I used film or digital, generally because they'd heard a horror story. I would show them an album and ask them firstly if they liked the quality of the images, and then what they thought it was shot with. Most guessed wrong and said "film". Back then my using digital could have undermined my perceived value. But what if your choice of suppliers added perceived value to your service? What if you had brides asking about your suppliers? If a client sought you out because you used Queensberry would you be offended? If you don’t tell your clients why your To View More >>

Simon Whitten of SMW Photography has an interesting perspective on timelessness. He says the albums he's designing today should have looked current ten or twenty years ago, not just years into the future. That's the real test of timelessness, he says. That philosophy underlies his approach to album design - simple and uncluttered. We've featured Simon's work on Queensberry Connects before, but we grabbed this album for the beautifully simple design and the thought behind it ... He created a 14x10 Duo album for clients Charlotte and James and also made a stunning 18x10 Silk display sample for the To View More >>
