Denis Reggie has taken his Canon VIP tour to Europe with stops in Amsterdam and Copenhagen along the way. We were delighted to sponsor Denis. His belief in unobtrusive photography, spontaneous images and timeless presentation resonate well with us. And we were thrilled to have our albums in front of his audiences! Thanks Denis, and all the best for the rest of your tour. You can follow Denis here: Facebook | Twitter | WWW To View More >>

(Warning: contains references to blue-grass and rock music) Johannes introduced me to his friends, Lyttelton band The Eastern. That’s OK, nobody else has heard of them either, and that's the point of this post. A while ago The Eastern opened in Auckland for Steve Earle, and more recently for Old Crow Medicine Show. Somebody asked me how do we stand out when our audience sees us as somehow all the same ... just dearer or cheaper (light beige and dark beige). I was watching a piece on TED about a guy called Daniel Libeskind ... his work is very left of centre and clearly not beige. Watch it and listen to his talk. Very seldom do we get a blank canvas opportunity where we get to look at what we do and ask, "If my past no longer dragged down my future what would my future be?" On February the 22nd  everything changed. We went from a plan, to a nightmare, to a dream. But this post isn't about us. This is about you. We as a studio would often leave updating our samples until there was a specific need, which most often was a bridal show. This always put pressure on us and To View More >>
