Rugby World Cup fever is gripping New Zealand at the moment, which ties in nicely with my topic (sort of). Twenty teams are here to be beaten by the mighty All Blacks. (Go you good things!) OK, all the teams want to win, but only one can. Whereas our goal is to deliver the best possible books and albums, so everyone wins. How's that for cheesy? But we mean it! We have had an influx of press book orders over the last few months and nearly everybody has been over the moon about them. However not everyone has had the same warm fuzzy feeling. Why? Everyone has a story to tell, and for decades our business has been about crafting those stories into beautiful albums to remember forever. But the way we do so has been changing dramatically. Today we're announcing free album design and free standard colour correction on all our professional albums - Flushmount, Overlay Matted, Classic Matted and Duo. Here's why... When we're discussing how we can improve our products and services, we ask ourselves three questions: Can we make it fun? Will it save you time? Will it make you money? This time we're aiming for all three :) Many of our customers pay us to colour correct their images. Many pay us to design their albums as well. Many more wish they could afford to do the same. ALL OF YOU are going to enjoy one of two things. A fresh chance To View More >>

For me the big one is the first... A new shortcut for choosing standard aperture sizes Instead of selecting an aperture size from the pop-up menu you can now use keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease an aperture to the next standard size. • For Mac OSX Command+Shift+I and Command+Shift+K • For Windows Control+Shift+I and Control+Shift+K. Next we have not one, not two but three new right-click functions [caption To View More >>

We are about to release a new version of Photojunction that will no longer support Macintosh pre-Intel PowerPCs, which were discontinued in 2006. This is necessary so that we can upgrade the Photojunction development environment, which no longer supports PowerPCs. If you are running a Windows PC you won't be affected. If you're running an Intel-based Mac you won't be affected either. All Macs have been Intel-based since 2007, so if your computer is newer than that you're fine. If you're not sure you can check by going to About This Mac under the Apple menu. We have announced that this is coming To View More >>
