I've talked about Photojunction and Workspace. Now may I introduce you to Queensberry Lab Direct. This downloadable program is for Aussie and Kiwi photographers to order print products (traditional prints, canvases and fine art inkjet) from us. The difference between Lab Direct and the Workspace shopping cart system is that with Lab Direct, you are placing a wholesale order and paying for it yourself, whereas in Workspace it's your client placing the order, and paying the retail price that you set. Lab Direct very simple. All you need to do is to import the images, much the same as you do with To View More >>

I think it's fair to say we are living in more challenging times than we were five years ago. The biggest world recession in our life time. Decreased global demand and the relentless media working 24/7 to scare the hell out of everyone everywhere. But as my cliched one-liner says, that’s the time us tough guys get going. If there’s reduced demand it's got to be about us thinking, working, and living smarter than our competition. Many years ago I headed to an up-market department store to buy a gift. When I asked the person behind the counter to show me what I wanted, she replied, “It’s expensive you know”. Was she suggesting that I couldn’t afford it, or was she reflecting on her own economic situation? She should have known better. Her job was to show me the product, work with my enthusiasm and make the business she worked for better off. As a business person I’ve reflected on this incident often. I’m always reminded of it at trade shows when people look at our albums and say things like, “They're so beautiful, To View More >>

We've all had that crushing feeling when clients want to change the PERFECT album. Your original design destroyed. Heartbreak. Easy way around this is to duplicate the album before making changes. That way you don't lose your masterpiece, and it's still there if the clients change their mind after seeing what they've done! To duplicate the design, simply click the X2 button in the Product Column of the Project Browser. Three more great uses for duplicating albums: - You placed an order, but there was a problem with your files... so you need to fix a layout and create a new export. You'll need To View More >>
