Wow, last Friday we offered 200 sample books and albums discounted by 50% (instead of the normal 25%). Well, it blew the doors off the OP department. They had 200 acceptances and counting before the email had even finished sending! So first we need to say "thank you". Second, we can hardly say No to people who's email address starts with "Z", or who happened to be asleep in the "wrong" time zone, so if you've already contacted us we'll definitely do the deal for you. Just a few Buts (sorry!): - Don't forget they're for samples only, and (new policy, so pardon the repetition) marked "not for resale". To View More >>

It has been a busy year for Queensberry. We brought in the Press Book/Album range and along with that came a whole lot of new queries. Introducing a new product or feature sure keeps us on our toes. In fact sometimes there's a race between our very switched on customers and us here in tech support to find out what the latest version of Photojunction has to offer. Our first Northern Hemisphere show was in Birmingham UK in 2001, when we shared a booth at FOCUS with the Guild of Photographers. We did so well we decided to fly solo at WPPI the following year. Our first time in Vegas! At that first show I turned up late on Day One because of a minor drama back home. It was amazing. We had a blast for three days, heading back to the Casino in the evenings for a quiet drink in the din of To View More >>

In 1981, I was on a fishing boat chugging from Tulagi to Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands, taking the Asian Development Bank auditor to catch his plane. He said to me, “Have you heard of a company called Apple?” Ah, no. “They could change your life”, he said. “Anybody can have a computer now, and just imagine what it could do in your warehouse.” Back then, managing a boat yard in the Solomons involved importing everything from hammers and nails, and nuts and bolts, to the Caterpillar engines that drove the ten tuna pole and line catcher boats we were building. Our warehouse was a To View More >>

Mac OSX Lion is exciting new software, but before you install it there are a few things to think about: 1. You'll lose access to all your old PowerPC applications. It's been six years since Apple transitioned to Intel processors, and with the introduction of OSX Lion you will no longer be able to run PowerPC based software. Rosetta kept the old software running pretty smoothly, so you could be in for a few surprises. For starters I had to upgrade Microsoft Office. Never thought of that! 2. Closer to home, you will no longer be able to run Photojunction Retro (yes, there are still a handful of To View More >>
