Now that so many of our albums are printed and assembled right here, our staff love checking them out as they pass through the assembly process. One that made waves all the way down the line was Dilip and Anchel’s wedding in Toronto, Canada, photographed by Manpreet Sokhi of Mansa Photography. Anchel Ghai and Dilip Krishna were engaged in August, 2006 and married on May 5, 2007. The couple were married in a traditional South Indian Hindu wedding as per the groom’s family's traditions. Six hundred guests enjoyed the festivities, which lasted over a week. The couple expressed how important the To View More >>
If you haven't been to the Photojunction website or blog lately, you won't recognise them. What's going on? Well, the old PJ site had to go, for several reasons. • Danny was embarrassed by it (me too). • PJ has changed so fast that a lot of the support info was out of date. • There's a bit of misinformation out there (I'll get to that). • And it's high time we came out of the closet… So here's the story: In case you don't know, Photojunction is a Queensberry project. Photojunction also harnesses the power of Photoshop for you during the export stage of the workflow, when you can open and edit exported page layouts in Photoshop from within Photojunction, just as you did the original image files. After you export your high-res page layouts (almost always using Photoshop) they become visible in the Export Layouts window. The layout files will have been saved to your hard disk, and so under your care and control, and many people want to work on them before printing. But you need to take care. If you rename or move the files, for example, Photojunction won’t To View More >>
You, the photographer, are entrusted with telling the story of a couple's day ... not any old day ... it's the BIG one. [caption id="attachment_8319" align="alignleft" width="333" caption="The bride and groom"][/caption] They want it told with beauty and creativity. They chose you because they saw your work and figured that you would be the best person to tell their story. Or was it that they fell in love with your prices, and assumed that all photographers were equal (except for pricing)? Ultimately we are telling a story ... we need to know whether we are the authors or the observers, and apply To View More >>
