I was talking to Simon, one of our album layout designers, about how the team were finding the new Workspace album proofing feature. They've been using it with photographers for a few months now and I was keen to get his feedback. What follows is pretty much his response verbatim. "It's working brilliantly! We get to review the studio’s comments alongside the relevant layouts. It’s accurate and clear to follow. "Not having to interpret requests for edits in emails is a real bonus. The integrated communication between the studio, bride and groom, and designer keeps everybody in the loop, and minimises the chancs of mistakes that can happen with endless emails between multiple parties … ultimately making the whole process faster and smoother for our team as well as the studios. "When we open the file in Photojunction, the comments automatically pop up on the appropriate layouts ... so simple!" Best, Heather PS Photographers using the new "star" function in Photojunction to denote their hero shots is also working a treat. It takes out the need for the studio to supply a separate document saying which their favourites are. I understand it's on the Workspace development schedule too. Can't wait.
