We reckon it's time to upgrade to PJ Remix. The guys at Team PJ haven't gone final yet, but they must be getting close. Talia from our design department loves it: "Yay for Remix! I've been doing a heap of digital album exports lately and I use a lot of non standard sizes in digital albums. Using Remix I don't need to make any adjustments to the alignment in Photoshop because PJ is now spot on! So much time being saved!" Talia had been holding off because the QuickTime movie function was "too slow", but now that's fixed there's no holding her back. So you know, you can move from PJ Retro to Remix To View More >>

Happy New Year! As I always say, this is a great time of year to reflect. We achieved a lot to be proud of in 2010. As well as our regular software releases, and a user base that grew by another 25% over the year, some of the highlights included: - Queensberry press book integration – our new classroom movie series – and of course our popular weekly webinars... You may have noticed we've released Photojunction Remix 1.46 Final. Thanks to changes we made to our bug reporting systems in version 1.45, we've been able to track down and resolve quite a few elusive bugs in 1.46. A noteworthy one was an error when communicating to Photoshop - 'OLE Exception'.  We've done this by adding a 'Default Photoshop' preference, which tells Photojunction which version to talk to, and automatically filling it in (look in general preferences). By the way if you see a message when you export saying 'please select a valid photoshop executable file in preferences' this is To View More >>

Hello dears, I saw a couple of tweets about Photojunction having gotten slow. I don't know about you but at my age I don't have enough time left to feel happy just twiddling my thumbs, so I asked the boys about it. Until this release Photojunction was keeping the whole album loaded in memory, but now it's just the current layout. That's because, with Queensberry press books – which could have lots more images and layouts to worry about – you could have had out-of-memory problems as the operating system unpacks everything ready to use. A bit like me having a senior moment ;) Albums actually To View More >>
