About twelve months ago Jonas Peterson left his high profile, high paying position as a leading advertising copywriter to become a full-time photographer... In his first year on the block he shot 42 weddings and jumped to number one in Google rankings for 'Brisbane wedding photographer' (actually he did that in two months). He's booked 15 destination weddings so far this year and describes his business as 'wedding photography with a touch of awesome'. Team PJ made some some pretty significant changes in the lead-up to the release of the latest final version, v1.31. Changes focused on simplifying and streamlining your workflow. Coinciding with that we asked them to create a new "service" – Design, Print and Assemble – to make the process of placing a design order and uploading all the files as simple as possible. ;) Really, it's very simple. Version 1.47, builds on changes introduced in v1.46. Our main focus was on Queensberry's new press books, including fixes to the new workflow, many of them "behind the scenes" from the user point of view. Having said that we've introduced three new features to speed up your album design. They're still a bit "v1.0", but we wrote them in consultation with Queensberry's design team, who live and die by productivity, and we wanted to get them to you early so you could take a look and To View More >>

Wading through our "how-to" posts was quite a job. Trying to single out the best was just as difficult, but worth the effort. Here are my favourites. Hopefully you'll find them handy when dealing with Queensberry and Photojunction, and evaluating your own workflow... There's so much good stuff in the  Smooth Sailing series I reckon you should check them all, but here are a few: Photo Front covers (easy peasy) - If designing Photo Front covers sounds hard. It's not. Here's how to easily do it. What can delay your orders? -  Here are a few simple things that frequently delay people's orders (long To View More >>
