You probably know we offer free protective coating on all Queensberry prints bound in Queensberry albums. It's a fine, almost unnoticeable coating, that helps protect the images. Prints in Duo albums are a bit more exposed than in matted books, so we’ve decided to coat all prints bound into Duo albums from now on. Free of charge, obviously. As most of our clients already ask for their prints to be coated, this change will affect only a few clients. Most of the albums we make are now printed and bound by us, but the guys from Front Room have chosen a road less traveled – Self-Mount Digital albums. There are pluses and minuses to DIY but (strictly from our own point of view) it sometimes feels… a little distant. We never get to see what goes into those books! Time and time again we see albums pass through our Bindery in which the photographer has reflected the stylistic theme of the wedding in the book itself. Last week we featured an album with an autumnal harvest theme. This album uses our Pagemount page system to very different effect.
