SEARCH RESULTS FOR: new features
When it comes to design we know that where you start may be not where you end up. That is why in Workspace we have a couple of features to help: First, in Workspace's Albums area you can review the design Queensberry's done, share it with your clients, and pass back any comments and edits to us. Second, you may have a change of heart and want to include additional files that weren't uploaded to Workspace in the initial round. Have you ever wanted a Photojunction or Workspace tech sitting on your shoulder as you work? We have introduced a new service which is a little more comfortable for us and most likely a little less painful for you (trust me, I'm not a featherweight). When duplicating albums in Photojunction, the new album is automatically named with the original name with "_copy1", "_copy2", etc added to the end. This can get quite confusing. If I don't touch the album for a month, I'll have no idea which copy is the right copy. I try to rename as soon as possible. I have a few suggestions that might help with your workflow, and give you an idea of the kind of confusion you can get into. 1. So despite your best efforts checking your files, Queensberry discovers a funky image or layout in your album, and we need a replacement. It happens. Here's what to do if we need a new layout (rather than an image). 1. Your album will be locked, so first you need to duplicate it. 2. Now you can open the unlocked duplicate, fix that funky layout and create a new export for the fixed layout. 3. If you reopen an album in Photojunction after sending to Queensberry, you'll notice it's "locked" and cannot be modified. Why? Because if you were to make changes to the album after we've received the order, we'd be making something different, which would certainly cause us confusion – you, us, or all of us – as you can imagine.
